Lake White is in Pike County. This lake covers 323 acres of fishing water and has 8 miles of shoreline. The lake lies within Ohio Division of Wildlife District Four(4).
Location ~ Lake White is located in Pike County approximately four(4) miles southwest of the city of Waverly and is accessible by State Routes 104 and SR 220.
Distance from Major Cities ~ Approximately 15 miles south of Chillicothe. Approximately 70 miles east of Cincinnati. Approximately 60 miles south of Columbus.
Fishing Opportunities ~ Lake White maintains populations of; *Largemouth Bass *Crappie *Bluegill *Bullhead *Channel Catfish *Saugeye *and a Largemouth/Spotted Bass Hybrid population.
Boating Information ~ There is no horsepower restriction on this small lake which makes it popular with the local power boaters. The main boat launch is located near the state park headquarters on the south end of the lake and there are numerous places that you can rent a boat.
The Ohio Division of Wildlife activities include; monitoring fish populations ~ constructing fish attractors ~ physical and chemical water analysis. Stockings of Largemouth Bass – Channel Catfish – Muskellunge are also implemented.
