Van Buren Lake is in Hancock County. This tiny lake covers 53 acres of fishing water and has 2 miles of shoreline. This lake is in Ohio Division of Wildlife District Two(2).
Location – Van Buren Lake is located in northern Hancock County. It is approximately eight miles north of Findlay and one mile east of I-75 off of State Route 613.
Approximately 8 miles north of Findlay. Approximately 40 miles south of Toledo. Approximately 35 miles northeast of Lima.
Van Buren Lake supports; *Largemouth Bass *Bluegill *Crappies *Bullheads.
There is an electric motors only restriction on Van Buren Lake. A single lane boat ramp is on the north side.
The Ohio Division of Wildlife activities include ~ monitoring fish populations ~ physical and chemical water quality analysis.
