Spent a nice, sunny day out on Sandusky Bay September 12th. It was in the 70’s with no wind at all. Water was stained and 70 – 75 degrees. We fished a little deeper this time, trying to stay in 5 – 8 feet. Fished a few marinas, but found rock walls and points to hold more fish. Most fish were caught on a chartreuse crank bait. There were lots of bass boats around us all day. We figured we must be in a good area of the lake for bass!
We have a lot to learn about Lake Erie bass yet, but really enjoy Sandusky Bay. We have much to explore yet and will be back as soon as circumstances allow it.
