Lake Highlight: Alum Creek

Alum Creek Lake about seven(7) miles north of Columbus, 105 miles southwest of Cleveland, 100 miles northeast of Cincinnati. The lake is paralleled by I-71 to the East with SR36 and SR37 providing access. You can fish for Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Muskellunge, Saugeye, White and Black Crappie, White Bass &Channel Catfish. There are four(4) boat ramps around Alum Creek. Three of these ramps have two lanes. Horsepower is unlimited. Both fishing boats and personal watercraft are available for rent.
We fished there is 2019 in the summer and found it to be a very busy lake. Lots of recreational boaters. The bass fishing was good – we caught fish all day and had a great time. We definitely have it on our list of lakes to visit again! Check out more informtion about Alum Creek at
