Lake Info & State Management

Killdeer Reservoir is in Wyandot County. This reservoir covers 285 acres of water with 2.2 miles of shoreline. This reservoir is in Ohio Division of Wildlife District Two(2).

Killdeer Reservoir is located on the Killdeer Plains Wildlife Area off of State Route 67 near Marseilles and Marseilles Township in Wyandot County. It is accessible from State Route 67 near the city of Marseilles.

Approximately 50 miles north from Columbus. Approximately 70 miles south of Toledo. Approximately 100 miles southeast of Cleveland.

Killdeer Reservoir has a varied fishery; *Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass *Bluegill *Walleye *Yellow Perch *White Crappie *Brown Bullhead. *Channel Catfish are stocked by the Division of Wildlife. Introduced through Tymochtee Creek are *Rock Bass *Green Sunfish *White Sucker.

Boating Information,There is an electric motors only restriction on Killdeer Reservoir. There is a modern boat ramp and parking area on the north side off of County Road 75.

The Division of Wildlife activities include ~ monitoring fish populations ~ stocking ~ constructing and marking of specialized fishing features ~ fish attractors ~ physical and chemical water quality analysis.
