Mogadore Reservoir Bass Fishing Report

I love Mogadore Reservoir! It is one of my favorite bass lakes. Whenever we have been struggling to catch ’em, we head to Mogadore for a good boost of confidence. No matter what the time of year, the bass are always willing to bite there. Yesterday was no exception. We had 90 degree air temperature and 81.6 degree water which seemed a little more stained than usual with a nice breeze to add some chop to the water. We caught a couple fish in 6 – 8 feet of water in the weed line with crank baits. In the shallow water, we had a frog bite around shaded lay downs and weed patches. Nothing big, just lots of fun catching. This was our first time on Mogadore this year, surprisingly, but I know it won’t be our last! If you are into electric motor only bass tournament fishing, there seems to be a Tuesday night tournament there. We saw a group of about 8 boats shortly after 5:00. Mogadore is also a GREAT kayak bass lake. There are several places you can get to that a boat can’t!
