Spring is here early and the fish are snapping.

We have been fishing the island area and the can areas where the fish are staging to spawn. Perfect Tens and Bandits have been our go-to with colors from HL&S Customs. The new colors I posted two weeks ago on FB have been on fire.

Bandits 80-100. Perfect Tens 25/25, 30/30 and 40/40 with two ounces have been best. Speeds are 1.0 to 1.3-mph. Use your electronics to find schools of feeding fish. Remember, this time of year fish will move fast – so don’t stay in one spot if your not catching.

Get out and get your fish on. Spring has sprung and the walleyes are eating. Till next time.
