Lake Erie Bass Fishing Report: Sandusky Bay

Spent a hot, blue sky day out on Sandusky Bay last week. Launched from the Dempsey Access. We fished shallow – four feet and under, fishing rocky points and docks. We found some activity with brightly colored crankbaits and spinner baits. The water was stained and 85 – 87 degrees. In hindsight, we should have looked into deeper waters for better quality and quantity of fish. Still a fun day, though!
