Checked out Clear Fork yesterday for the first time! Nice ramp & facilities in the marina. There is a campground right next door, too. The fishing was a bit slow – we heard the lake was recently sprayed for weeds and was also a bit off color. Managed to hook a few fish – boy did these bass have attitude! Absolutely destroyed a black frog right at wind blown weed edges The one in the picture got away as soon as I got the hook out, as did the rest before we got pics!
Clear Fork has nice shoreline picnic areas you can fish or launch your kayak or canoe from, too. Close to Mansfield, Canton, Wooster and Akron, its definitely worth the drive for a good day of fishing! Check out more information here: https://gofishohio.com/…/clear-fork-lake-fishing-map-centr…/
