Clear Fork Reservoir Bass Fishing Review

Clear Fork Reservoir Bass Fishing Review
Spent a sunny, breezy day on Clear Fork Reservoir Thursday. There are some nice bass in there! The stained water was 77 – 79 degrees, and we fished the windy side (campground side).
This lake has a nice variety of weeds, lily pads, laydowns and natural shore lines to fish. There are also some islands and humps that we didn’t explore. Lots of choices to find fish.
We caught our fish off weed edges using spinner baits, crank baits and swim baits. Kept our boat in 7 – 9 feet of water and casted toward the shore. Largest was @ 3.5 lbs., and caught quite a few short fish too. Most were the size in the pictures.
There definitely is ample opportunity for shoreline fishing from the campground, fishing pier, and bridges. Great lake for kayak fishing too. Not too big, not too small. There is room for everyone. There is a tackle store right near the ramp if you forgot something or need live bait. Two thumbs up for a great day of fishing!
