Lake Info & State Management

Berlin Lake is in Northeast Ohio and lies within Stark ~ Mahoning ~ Portage Counties. Constructed on the Mahoning River. Ohio Division of Wildlife District Three. 3650 acres of fishing water with 68.48 miles of shoreline at normal pool level.

About 60 miles south of Lake Erie and 25 miles west of the Pennsylvania border. The lake is accessible along State Route 224 and State Routes 14 and 225.

Approximately 50 miles southeast of Cleveland. Approximately 110 miles northeast of Columbus. Approximately 25 miles west of the Ohio/PA border.

Berlin Lake fishing opportunities include *Walleye *Largemouth *Smallmouth *White Bass *Bluegills *Black and White Crappies *Channel Catfish *Bullheads *Yellow Perch *Pumpkinseed *Muskellunge

There is a boat rental. Horsepower is unlimited. The public boat launch on Bonner Road has four lanes. This is a very heavily used recreational lake.

Ohio Division of Wildlife activities include stocking and constructing of fish shelters ~ fish population monitoring ~ physical and chemical water quality analysis.
