Lake Info & State Management
Indian Lake is in Logan County. This large lake covers 5800 acres of fishing water with 29 miles of shoreline. Ohio Division of Wildlife District One.
Indian Lake is located in northwestern Logan County about 15 miles northwest of Bellefontaine on State Route 235N. You can also access the lake from I-75 by exiting at US 33 and heading east. The lake is the main attraction of Indian Lake State Park.
Approximately 60 miles northwest from Columbus — Approximately 60 miles north of Dayton — Approximately 80 miles south of Toledo — Approximately 130 miles southeast of Cleveland.
Fishing Opportunities – Indian Lake supports Largemouth Bass * Bluegill * Crappie * Catfish * Perch * White Bass * Walleye * Carp.
There is no horsepower restriction on Indian Lake. Four public boat launches are located at Lakeview Harbor off of US 33 near the state park headquarters in Moundwood near the state park campground at Blackhawk and at the Chippewa Marina. There are some large full-service marinas located around the lake.
The Division of Wildlife activities include stocking – monitoring fish populations – water quality analysis. There are more than 440 campsites in the state park.

Clear Fork Reservoir Bass Fishing Review
Spent a sunny, breezy day on Clear Fork Reservoir Thursday. There are some nice bass in there! The stained water was 77 – 79 degrees, and we fished the windy side (campground side).
