Lake Info & State Management
Oxbow Lake is in Defiance County. The small lake covers just 36 acres of fishing water with 1.5 miles of shoreline. This reservoir is in Ohio Division of Wildlife District Two(2).
Location ~ Oxbow Lake is located in Defiance County. It lies 10 miles northwest of the city of Defiance and can be accessed from State Route 15 at Schick Road.
Distance from Major Cities ~ 10 miles northwest of the city of Defiance. Approximately 50 miles west of Toledo. Approximately 110 miles north of Dayton. Approximately 20 miles east of the Ohio/IN border.
Fishing Opportunities at tiny Oxbow Lake includes: *Largemouth Bass *Bluegill *Green Sunfish *Bullhead.
Boating Information ~ There is no restrictions on Oxbow – but please use your common sense as the lake is only 36 acres. A small boat launch is located on the northern shore of the lake.
The Division of Wildlife activities include ~ monitoring fish populations ~ stocking ~ water quality analysis.

Clear Fork Reservoir Bass Fishing Review
Spent a sunny, breezy day on Clear Fork Reservoir Thursday. There are some nice bass in there! The stained water was 77 – 79 degrees, and we fished the windy side (campground side).
