Lake Information,Details and State Management
Van Buren Lake,Van Buren Lake is in Hancock County. This tiny lake covers 53 acres of fishing water and has 2 miles of shoreline. This lake is in Ohio Division of Wildlife District Two(2).
Location,Van Buren Lake is located in northern Hancock County. It is approximately eight miles north of Findlay and one mile east of I-75 off of State Route 613.
Distance from Major Cities,Approximately 8 miles north of Findlay. Approximately 40 miles south of Toledo. Approximately 35 miles northeast of Lima.
Fishing Opportunities,Van Buren Lake supports; *Largemouth Bass *Bluegill *Crappies *Bullheads.
Boating Information,There is an electric motors only restriction on Van Buren Lake. A single lane boat ramp is on the north side.
State Management,The Division of Wildlife activities include ~ monitoring fish populations ~ physical and chemical water quality analysis.[/table]
