Dow Lake is in Canaan Township in Athens County. It encompasses 153 acres with 7 miles of shoreline. The lake lies within Ohio Division of Wildlife District Four(4)
Dow Lake Location ~ This small lake lies just northeast of Athens on County Road 20 and north of US Route 50. It is the next door neighbor of Strouds Run State Park
Distance from Major Cities ~ Approximately 70 miles southeast of Columbus. Approximately 30 miles west of Marietta.

Boating Information ~ The boat ramp on Dow Lake is on the north end with parking and picnic areas. Horsepower is limited to 10-hp
