Lake Info & State Management
East Branch Reservoir is in Geauga County. The lake is 420 acres with 7.5 miles of shoreline. It is within Ohio Division of Wildlife District Three.
Location ~ East Branch lies in eastern Geauga County approximately 40 miles east of Cleveland. It is near the junction of State Route 608 and US Route 322 which crosses the upper end of the reservoir.
Distance from Major Cities ~ 40 miles east of Cleveland. 55 miles northeast from Akron. 65 miles northeast of Canton. 50 miles northwest of Youngstown.
Fishing Opportunities at East Branch feature *Largemouth Bass *Bluegill *White and Black Crappie *Channel Catfish *Northern Pike.
Boating Information,The city of Akron operates and maintains a boat house on the west shore of the reservoir near the dam off of Route 608. The only boat ramp is located there. There is no boat rental. Boats are limited to electric motors only.
The Division of Wildlife annually stocks Northern Pike fingerlings to maintain that species in the absence of natural reproduction. Other species are managed through natural reproduction.

Clear Fork Reservoir Bass Fishing Review
Spent a sunny, breezy day on Clear Fork Reservoir Thursday. There are some nice bass in there! The stained water was 77 – 79 degrees, and we fished the windy side (campground side).
