Location ~ Findley Lake is located in Findley State Park in Lorain County approximately 1.4 miles south of Wellington on State Route 58.

Distance from Major Cities ~ Approximately 35 miles southwest of Cleveland. Approximately 35 miles east of Akron.

Fishing Opportunities ~ Findley Lake is noted for its populations of *Largemouth Bass *Bluegills *White Crappie *Brown and Black Bullheads *Channel Catfish *Northern Pike.

Boating Information ~ The Department of Natural Resources has provided parking lots ~ launch ramps ~ docks ~ campsites ~ picnic areas. The main boat ramp is located on the south end near the beach where you can also rent a boat. The lake is limited to electric motors only.

State Management ~ The Division of Wildlife activities include stocking ~ construction of fish attractors ~ monitoring fish populations ~ creel studies ~ physical and chemical water analysis.
