Mogadore Reservoir Bass Fishing Report 10.19.23

Spent a nice fall day out on Mogadore Reservoir. One of my favorite lakes. Its always a great day of catching. We had a nice mid-fifty degrees Fall day with virtually no wind and partly cloudy skies. The water temp was 61 – 62 degrees and stained in color. There is still a bit of a green tinge left to the water.

The bite came on crank baits today. Specifically, I used a chrome sided Flat Max. Casted toward shore, reeling straight back in @ 6 feet of water. The only other lure to hook a fish was a buzz bait, but there were too many swipe and misses with it.

Mogadore’s Ticknor Rd. ramp is an improved ramp we have no problem launching our bass boat from. There is ample shoreline to fish here as well. If you are looking for a fishing pier or to rent a kayak or canoe, go to the launch on Rt. 43.

Bass fishing on Mogadore is great in any season. Fall is one of the most scenic times. If you are considering a trip, we say “go fish”!
